Extended family sessions are a special gift to that special family member. Whether it be Christmas, a birthday or Mothers/Fathers day, giving a person this rather than another candle or set of wine glasses is something they will cherish for years.

Having their whole family together in the frame is something most moms and grandparents hope for but usually have trouble achieving. Yes these sessions are crazy and busy but usually end in fun when they realize they will finally have that group picture they have always wanted. I think what most people need to realize is they just need to let go of their perfect and embrace the chaos and just enjoy their time with their family. That is what I really enjoy about these sessions, that it’s a chance to all get together in a pretty location and I am there to capture it as it unfolds.

As well as the typical group shot, I also try to capture each individual family group, each child and other set ups such as all the kids, the Grandparents with the kids or any other combos we have the time for.
