Can parents please promise to always end a cake smash session by joining in?? That is exactly what Hannah’s parents did at her cake smash session and it was so much fun! I love outdoor cake smash sessions. The photos turn out beautiful and its a fun way to remember the first time that your precious little one dug into a cake! Most of them start off slow but once they get into it the reactions are memories you will be thankful to have years from now :)

I also want to talk about this beautiful cake smash set up! Pretty right?? This was all from the client and they did an amazing job. Since we are all still dealing with the effects of Covid-19 on our country, I have changed the way I work. I am not bringing any of my own things for example blankets and cake smash props. But that does’t mean you can’t have them! Sally put this simple but beautiful set up together herself using her grandmother’s cake stand and some peonies from her garden and the result is perfect.
