It was still a bit chilly for this early Spring session but the warmth poured through with this family. They were visiting family in NJ from Maine to celebrate this sweet boy turning 1 year old!

What better way to document that huge milestone?? Cake smash of course! This little cutie made sure to bring along his favorite stuffed friend to share this beautiful cake with. The cake is from Suzi Cakes. It was so pretty and I am hoping my hubby gets me one for my birthday…hint hint Mark :)

We started off the session capturing images of them as a family before getting into the real fun… smashing cake :) Look at that messy face and hands. Obviously this cake was delicious!
