Since today felt like spring here I felt that this would be the perfect session to share on the blog!….

OK guys I PROMISED this year I would post more and I know I know…it’s Spring and I am posting a Fall session so I am kind of cheating!! I should be posting warm, glowing images right now and here I am posting all about the cold.

Meet the Broughel Family! Full of fun, love and pure sweetness. I was excited when Alicia asked me to meet them at their home. A lot of times people won’t think to do the session in their own backyard but it is nice to have memories of the kids playing and just being in their own comfort zone. These will be precious for them to look back on years from now.

I went back to my hometown to take newborn photos for this adorable new family of three in early October. I am from Brooklyn incase you didn’t already know…..ya know the home of the best pizza in the world. Well I guess aside from Italy but I have yet to have pizza from Italy so to me Brooklyn is the best. OK back to the photos.

Today is April 6th...Springtime. When beautiful flowers are in bloom, birds are chirping and sock-less feet begin to make their appearance.....unless you live in New Jersey because here it's SNOWING....again.

This. Day. Was. Cold. Would you know it from these smiles though?? I don't think so! These 4 pulled off their winter coats and rocked their session.

I wanted to share with you 5 reasons you should have a family session. Until having a family of my own I don't think I understood the true meaning behind getting family photos done. I cherish the professional photos we have and plan to make it part of our family tradition to have more done. I am realizing how crucial it is for me to be in these photos with my family and how important it is for my daughter to have both me and my husband in photos with her to look back on. So without further ado here are 5 reasons to have those photos taken.

Another year in the books for this little rock star. I have known this beauty since she was born and I can't believe she is already nine. The years really are going so fast....way too fast if you ask me. Rock on Grayce!

This is probably my favorite session so far. Between the gorgeous light, two of the sweetest most adorable kids and the fairytale looking forest right in their own backyard, it just felt magical.

10 Years, 120 months, 522 weeks, 3652 days, 87600 hours, 5258880 minutes and 315567360 seconds is what it took them to get to this day!

Between Halloween parties, town parades, school parades, town trick or treating and finally neighborhood trick or treating we had a very fun and busy Halloween! And we had so much fun with our costumes this year!
